Why did you select C4S Search?

Before joining C4S Search 4 years ago, I’d worked for a corporate Recruitment Agency where I felt like a small cog in a large machine, so wanted to join a growing independent consultancy where I could feel part of something.
From my first conversation with both Ryan and Ben, I instantly felt like C4S Search were on a journey and the vision they had was extremely exciting. They both said that if I joined I would progress my career, increase my earnings and have a great time doing so.
I'm pleased to say they kept their word on all three!

How has your career progressed since joining C4S Search?

I joined C4S Search with 18 months experience as a recruiter where, in all honesty, I hadn’t progressed as a Recruiter.
Within 11 months at C4S Search I was promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant and started the Legacy+ Leadership programme. This gave me the tools, support and opportunity to become a leader within the business and grow my own team.
Having completed the Legacy+ programme and hitting the criteria, I was then promoted to Managing Consultant where I was given more responsibility for my own team’s performance, as well as now being part of the Senior Management Team, giving me more input into business and operational decisions.
This career progression has allowed me to buy my first house which I didn’t think would be possible!

What would your advice be to an Experienced Recruiter considering C4S Search?

In 2012 C4S Search started in a garage with 2 people.
Fast forward to 2021 and we are multi-million pound turnover business, employing over 30 consultants, with most of the Senior Leadership Team having progressed within the business to get there.

Why did you select C4S Search?

I had multiple other opportunities as well as C4S Search at the time of applying. What really set C4S Search apart from the rest was the vision of the business and how passionate the founder Ryan O'Hara was about reaching those goals and how I could fit into that plan.
For me the environment that I work in is also very important, I liked the fact C4S have a fantastic, modern office space which generates a great atmosphere during working hours.

How has your career progressed since joining C4S Search?

Going into a completely new market I was slightly nervous as I made a good name for myself previously within Supply chain & Logistics. With the help of the team, I managed to break the record month at the time for billings which was just over £58,000 in just my second month in the business!
Since then, things have gone extremely well for me at C4S and I feel I’ve not only progressed professionally but also personally, which is really important to me and I feel like I have become a valued member of the business.
I have clear targets set for my next goal which is to gain promotion to 'Head of strategic partnerships' so it's now down to me to go out and achieve this with the support of my line manager and Directors.

What would your advice be to an Experienced Recruiter considering C4S Search?

If you are looking for a business that offer extreme flexibility, autonomy to run your own desk and somewhere to provide you all the tools and support you need to succeed, then look no further!
Our Principal commission structure cannot be matched in the market and C4S Search are truly a business who reward success, whether that’s through commission, lunch clubs or annual holiday trips!
