JOB TITLE:                                   Application Engineering Manager
LOCATION:                                 Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire
SALARY:                                       up to £75,000
WAY OF WORKING:               Full Time | Hybrid
THE BUSINESS:
C4S Search are pleased to be working with a marketing leading electronics manufacturing company who manufacture advanced devices that help track precise location and movement.
THE APPLICATION ENGINEERING MANAGER OPPORTUNITY:

Direct Management of Applications Engineers and Team Leaders within Application Engineering.
Prioritise and coordinate engineering activities to drive technical and commercial progress.
Be accountable for team projects and deliverables; allocating team members and resource by considering priorities.
Ensure compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025, assisting in audits and advising relevant parties of the need to add to or change policies as a result of new or changed compliance requirements.
Organise the team to investigate requests for the development of solutions to meet customer applications. Ensuring the undertake of investigative/feasibility work to develop solutions.
Takes a lead on developing application solutions through developing new hardware and software.
Coordinate acceptance testing of application solutions to verify correct operation, prior to release to the market. Resolve any issues found before providing to customers.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

Demonstrable experience managing successful high-tech customer funded projects, involving multidisciplinary project teams.
must be familiar with the AGILE approach and have will be able to demonstrate how they have applied this previously.
Experience of designing sophisticated electronic products.
Able to develop application solutions through developing new hardware and software, configuring products, and integrating third party products.
Degree in Electronics, Computer Science or an Engineering based subject, at a minimum level of 2:1. Background in Electronics/Software will be highly desirable.
