JOB TITLE:                                   IT Manager
LOCATION:                                 Surrey
SALARY:                                       £40,000 – £50,000
Local government pension scheme | free gym membership
WAY OF WORKING:               Full Time | Office-based | Permanent

THE BUSINESS:

This multi academy trust contains three schools in the Surrey area. The Trust provides a strong, sustainable supportive and vocal home for provisions that are often under supported, funded and thought of last in national and local policy and funding. They are driven by the compelling aim to transform the educational experiences of disadvantaged young people.

IT MANAGER

Duties:

  • Develop and implement the future digital strategy and IT management plan for the Trust.
  • Responsible for the line management, training and further development of the future IT team.
  • Direct, manage and oversee the development and optimisation of the IT infrastructure, systems and applications.
  • Provide an efficient, reliable and professional IT support service across the Trust, managing the needs of the Trust concerning the IT service.
  • To support the installation of new equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks on Trust ICT equipment including hardware, software, and other peripherals
  • To provide support with respect to the use of Audio/Visual hardware including audio recording equipment; lighting systems; sound systems; projectors; interactive whiteboards etc.
  • Ensure appropriate IT security and safeguarding systems are in place under both child and data protection legislation.
  • Model the highest professional standards to staff and in all aspects of the role, leading by example, working at all times to the standards as set out in the staff Code of Conduct.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:
  • Previous experience from a role in a similar industry
  • Experience of managing networks / infrastructure
  • Exposure to a range of technologies and applications
  • 2 or more years of experience in a senior role.
